What do you use in the bathroom? I used Regal Select eggshell and can see water streaks on the walls after showers. And I installed brand new top of the line Panasonic fans at the same time so it can't be that...

Would changing to semi-gloss (next step from eggshell) fix the problem?

Is this for sure? We were planning on doing some painting soon but don't mind waiting for this.

I'm also thinking about doing some painting around the house. I don't know much yet, so I'll ask... Whats the best paint for a kids bedroom? would that also be the best paint for the rest of the house?

i can't confirm if it does, but it sounded like there was no restrictions. you only really get the extra quality in Aura, if your doing a dark tone.

The BM near to me said I can buy untinted cans, to take advantage of the sale, & tint as needed later on.

the BM associate, who knew what he was talking about (older man with paint on his clothes), said for trim if ur interested in white, then go for the base white, & not go for the "other whites". basically the point he was making is you lose "ease of painting" (abit) with tinted whites (i think cause u change from base 0 to base 1), compared to non tinted white.

My BM store mentioned the upcoming sale and said it was only applicable to the Regal Select line.

I've used both Ben and Regal Select (eggshell) in my bathrooms and have had no streaking. Sounds like you have too much condensation in the room (i.e., open window or leave fan on longer).

Found the BM at the Home Hardware locations the best price. I believe it was 55 or 60 for the regal. They also let me buy the base and tint later during the last sale.

I didn't realize prices vary for BM paint depending on location.

Has anyone found a place in the GTA that sells for a worthwhile amount less than most other locations?

Does anyone know what color this light grey might be close to? Also does this look like a warm or cool toned grey?
