Aura is better. IIRC they don't have aura in pail sizes. So you would be looking a quite a lot of you were going to buy a bunch of cans.

For a 3300 sq ft home, I used 2 pails for walls, 2 cans for washrooms, 3 cans for trims and doors

Around how much was total price of paint for your home? That's regal?

Haven't painted in about 7 years. Ben Moore still considered one of the best?

I am a painter "21 years". I used to love Benjamin Moore. When they re-formulated there paints a few years back I found the quality to drop off quite a bit. Also, the sheens changed quite a bit.

I really wish they would have left the formula alone. I know most of the changes were due to new regulations in Canada for paint. It's too bad.

I now prefer Sherwin Williams. Although benjamin moore aura is a good paint...but very pricey.

At Ben Moore in scarborough near Markham/Sheppard and they say b2g1. Also they say only for regal paint.

I don't need paint until next spring. Better to jump in this deal or wait for a 40% Sherwin Williams deal for Emerald or Duration Paint?

Is this price cheaper than what most painters can get? Am I better off buying myself during this sale or just purchase through a painter?

Did whole house with Regal in spring during last sale. It's VERY good paint and I like it as much as their Aura flagship paint. Colors turned out well and paint was easy for a non professional to work with. Would do again with no hesitation.

How much more does Regal cost vs Behr paint? Are we talking double the cost or what?

Yes works out better than contractor pricing. My contractor anyways.

What's better value, this sale or the 30% off sherwin williams sale?

In addition to the Benjamin Moore and Shermin Williams sales, Dulux has B1G1 as well. I have no idea which is better, and have to start painting soon.

Tips or tricks anyone?

It seems Benjamin More Regal ($65/g) is cheaper than Dulux Diamond ($75) before promotion. Does it mean Dulux Diamond is better?

Just called and confirmed here in Winnipeg they have Regal paint (Called Mid Grade Paint) on Sale as OP described goes for 64.99$ each gallon ( Buy 2 and Get 1 free = 3 Cans for 43$ each close to Behr that I bought last week) and Aura (Premium line ~76.99$, never goes on sale) ...You know I am thinking to refresh both rooms with this paint and see how that goes... she said a Gallon would cover ~400 sq.feet area with double coat...

Painted my whole house with Regal last year and it was excellent. Just moved this year and wanted to paint the new place so I'll definitely pick this up.

Thanks OP.
