Best Brands for Power Racks?

What names are good and what should I avoid when searching?

I've read in the little research I've done so far that AmStaff is in the No Buy category, is this true? These are the ones I'm looking at so far

Would appreciate any opinions on these choices?

There's been a northern lights crossbox system power cage in buy sell forum here for awhile. Great set up, rock solid, I have it with some different options
Accesories like a dip station are cheap at fitness depot also compared to some brands

The amstaff is a good budget brand. I've used it with success. If you're squatting over 700+ lbs, then stay away. Otherwise, you're good.

I have an Amstaff rack. I've thrown 585 into it and it held. Needs to be weighed down for that though.

If you really want top of the line stuff, Rogue, EliteFts and Hammerstrength ones. But you're going to pay for them.

You have two different types in there, smith machine and a power rack. I am not a fan of smith machines - The bars are in a fixed path which may not be a natural range of motion and, normally, the bars are counter balanced.

Thanks for the advice so far, I am looking for something a bit more top end so I'll check out those brands mentioned.

If you're willing to spend the money, check out racks made by Rogue, XTCFitness or EliteFTS
