Best buffets in Las Vegas

I am going to be travelling to Las Vegas soon and would like to know the best buffet for:
1. breakfast
2. lunch
3. dinner

Value is my goal. I would rather pay a little bit more and get an awesome experience rather than save a small amount and be disappointed. If there are any deals to be had on these types of buffets, would be interested in that too.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Few years ago we bought a 24-hr buffet deal for $49.99, can go to any of the 7 Harrah hotel/resorts. So we went for a late dinner the first night at 9pm, then breakfast at another location, early lunch at another location, late lunch at another, and finally a dinner at yet another location. Search to see if that is still available.

Belagio used to be very good but last couple times not great

For economical you cannot beat the buffet at the mirage think it's called cravings

If you want best quality and selection and don't care about the cost, Bacchanal at Caesar's Palace.

Bellagio and Wynn are a step down from that but are also very good I heard. Palms has a very affordable yet decent buffet.

Been to Vegas a few times in the last 3 years and I would rate the following:

First Place: Caesar's Palace - Bacchanal Buffet. Best by a wide margin, also more expensive by a wide margin. It is simply incredible. I had brunch and lunch and would love to try their dinner next time.

Tied for Second: Aria & Mirage Cravings. I didn't have high hope for Mirage Cravings but it is quite good, plus all you can drink beer and wine for the same price as other buffets? sign me up! I have been to Aria twice and both times left happy.

Fourth place: Bellagio. It is actually very good as well. I am a big fan of Poke and they have Poke in dinner. But other than that other offerings are comparable to others at a higher price point.

Honorable mention: Station Casino Feast buffets. This is where locals go for buffet. The price is ridiculously cheap, made even cheaper if you have their price card. You won't get crabs or lobsters but it has the best value by far. Prime rib was yumy. Lunch cost $9 whereas dinner cost $14. https://redrock.sclv.com/Dining/Feast-Buffet

Need to try: Cosmopolitan's Wicked Spoon and M Resort. Again M Resort is very popular among locals and I would love to try their seafood buffets.

In the end, don't go to the crappy ones at Excalibar or Luxor. Either go to the big names, or go to Station/M Resort buffets.

Agree with comments on Caesars ... and more moderately priced buffets like Aria (lunch is goos). CRAVINGS at the Mirage with the unlimited beer, wine and Bloody Mary/mimosas on a weekend are good. Yes, I'm a lush lol

If you are looking for big filling meals don't limit yourself to buffets. My husband loves a hearty breakfast so Hash House a Go Go is always a must for us. There's a great Brazilian Steakhouse off strip (forget the name) that's good too.

Agreed on Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars as well. This is my comment on buffet in the other Vegas thread.
wesleyw wrote: Instead of going for a couple of lower priced buffets, I would personally suggest splurging on one nice buffet. Caesar's or Wynn are my top 2 choices right now, Cosmo used to be up there but I felt the quality has gone down since my previous visits
Aria was a good mid-priced one, but I haven't been there for close to 3 years now so I'm can't comment on the quality now.

I found Bellagio to be much better than Wicked Spoon, and it's cheaper too! Wicked Spoon looks amazing in pictures but unfortunately the taste just doesn't live up to the visuals..

my rating

1) Caesar
2) Wynn
3) Bellagio
4) Aria

If you want to save some money , go .5 hrs before the change over to Dinner, so you pay lunch price , but get lunch & dinner selection of food. The only problem is you will be eating your dinner around 3-4 pm.

The 24 hr buffet pass still exists, but price has now gone up to $59.99 for Sun-Thurs or $74.99 Fri-Sat and holidays

I bought this when I went to Vegas in March 2016 and managed to fit in 4 meals by starting with a late dinner the first evening. I ate at Paris twice (breakfast and dinner) and Plant Hollywood (dinner) once, both of which I recommend for flavour and variety. Don't bother going to Harrah's if you're looking for selection because it was pretty lean. I didn't get a chance to try the others covered under this pass.

When I stayed at the Monte Carlo, I had some resort credit which I used at the breakfast buffet (not bad, but Paris is better).

To answer my own OP, we went to two buffets when we were there, both breakfast but switched over to lunch. One was the Village Buffet at Paris and the other Aria. Both were roughly the same price but the Aria buffet was absolutely excellent. The food seemed pretty decent quality and if you like to eat closer to raw, unprocessed, most everything could be obtained in raw form (e.g. fruit, salad, toppings, etc.). There was a decent omelet bar and a variety of international hot dishes. They also had a great selection of desserts and a gelato bar with probably twenty flavours of ice cream. We stopped by Caesar's but I thought it was expensive for what they were offering. Maybe it was because a lot of what they were serving was not really my kind of food.

And what is your assessment of the Paris buffet?

It was the first buffet I had been to during my recent visit to Las Vegas last week. The price was $47.56 for two for the breakfast buffet. I wasn't disappointed but when I visited the Aria buffet the next day I felt that Aria was miles ahead of the Paris buffet in terms of quality and selection.

The lighting was very poor (part of the ambience) so it was really difficult to get a good look at what you were putting on your plate.
The selection was reasonable and they had a fresh made-to-order omelet bar.
They also had a fresh crepe bar which is probably a highlight for anyone that enjoys crepes.

But for the money, I would say the Aria breakfast buffet was far superior. If you like to eat healthy and control your fat intake, many of the buffet items were back to the basics at the Aria buffet.

I also felt that both the Aria and Paris buffets were much better value than the Caesar buffet which everyone says is the best but the selection was a bit limited for the money. We went there and when we took a look at what they were offering decided it wasn't good enough for the money.

I did the Buffet of Buffets years ago (4-5 years now), and didn't really like the Paris Buffet. For the price - it's not too bad. Don't expect a lot of high end items.

As another poster said, Station casino's are great. Got two free lunch buffets through MyVEGAS for Green Valley Ranch - I would have easily paid the $10/person for lunch. They had a Mongolian Grill station there along with many other options.

I want to try the Caesars buffet on my next trip as it is recommended by so many.
