I just received email notification that my item has shipped. No idea if it's the 2TB or 250GB that they sent me. My email receipt and order history is still showing model# MZ-V7S2T0B/AM. We'll see soon enough, though chances are it'll be the 250GB one.

Just got it today and it was the 250GB. I get that retailers have the right to cancel orders due to price errors, and I'm totally ok with it, but I'd rather they did just that. No email or contact letting me know that they'll be sending me an item that doesn't match what I have on my invoice / order. Now I have to go return it in-store. Oh well. Did anyone actually manage to get the 2TB model?

Nothing yet, called them yesterday to see what's up and they said that they should be emailing me soon. They escalated the case more. Kinda makes it better for me because I had to wait almost 2 weeks instead of the promised 2 to 5 days. Expecting an email from them tomorrow.

I had the exact same experience. The CSR rep did not want to connect me with a manager, but rather said that my case will be escalated. I hate buying from Best Buy and try to avoid them at any cost, they are a bunch of crooks. They are like a casino that always wins, and a slot machine that accidentally gives away a jackpot is broken, therefore, all winning should be forfeited to the casino

AFTER A LEGENDARY SHOWDOWN

I was offered a discount of: $975 for all of the SSDs that I bought (15 of them!) - I declined. Way too much hassle to flip this low capacity garbage on Kijiji .

Settled on two giftcards instead in the middle ground: $250 and $235 -- some of you might castrate me for this, but better time value/money to me.

Returned them all for full refund.

Total time spent discussing:

Phone Call 1: 11 minutes
Phone Call 2: 7 minutes
LEGENDARY LONG ASS PHONE CALL: 41 minutes!!!

Not bad for about an hour of work (not including the 5 minute drive to return them!)

Good luck!!

Tried to call today and CSR still offering 15% off the $89.99 or refund and 10% off the next order. Had to escalate and wait again until they offer the same $65 gift card that was given.
