Best buy is having issues with mastercard at the moment. They are working on a fix but they don't know how long it'll take. The orders pass but are on hold.

Thanks, OP. The 55" model for $399 -$25 seems hotter for me, but others may think 55" is too tiny. My first tv was 17", so 55" is like science fiction come true to me.

I just went from a 32" to a 70" in the basement for sub $1000 including 5 yr extended warranty. Can u pass the popcorn over this way?

Seriously. Think back to the day when Sony came out with the first 50"+ projection TV back in the day for $5000!!!! Back in those days, ppl had to work for months to buy it, now we can buy a much bigger set...and pay it in a few days pay.
We've come a long way.

If you are wanting HDR don't get this tv as HDR peak brightness is horrible.

I seem to upgrade screens every couple years. The TCL 6 Series ( from the Costco $499 deal ) HDR is a huge upgrade from my 2 year old Samsung 4K. I actually think the jump from 4k to great HDR is much more important than the jump from 1080 to 4K.

Well I love both 4K and HDR but if I had to choose I will say I like the HDR pop you get on screen under the right circumstances.

I think Im going to pull the trigger on this one with the $50 off... I don't game at all, this is plainly for TV/Netflix etc and bonus the legs are closer together and will fit on my current TV stand. Any comments on this one? With the $50 off its the cheapest place to get it. Any other models under $1000 that would be a better deal? I havent bought a TV for a while and could use a little help
