That would be great. Can you point me to that specific model for $259?

You've missed "a bit more". p.s. I'm assuming his / her "2k" is referring to QHD / 1440p...and not the official DCI 2k.

Start from here...but not limited to this list: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/mo ... ice&page=1

Those on pcpartpicker are more expensive now but wait for a sale you won't be too far from this price. It is one of the benefits of choosing amd is the monitors are cheaper. Still got my upvote

Are you telling me that you can always get a bit more by... paying a bit more ...
Not what I said. Alternatively, you can opt for pay more for less. (In fact, it's always easier to pay more for less...or even pay more for nothing...than the other way round) That's also an option. Life, full of options, who knew.

what you suggested is like double the price.

259$ for 27 inch 1080p at 144hz is a great deal.

Say what you want.

I'm not disagreeing.

I'm saying you've missed "a bit more"...that's what he / she said, but you requested $259.

Your price disagreement is not with me, but with him / her who stated "a bit more" (subjective). (e.g. "A bit more" could mean $200 more over the lifespan of the monitor's useful life...say 3-5 years... that's like $0.20 per day)

I merely provided a link to a list of current pricing for 1440p monitors of 144Hz. Not a suggestion, but a reference.

haha...you shouldn't. I'm just some pixels on your screen that resemble some text that you can visually register and interpret.

seems like a pretty good deal. i've been looking for 27" curved for my racing sim for quite some time and this is pretty much the price of a 75hz. i'm really tempted.

1080p at 27” is atrocious pixel density. I can’t imagine using a monitor like that.

Hell, my 28” 4k isn’t sharp enough sometimes.

1080p @ 27" is ok @ 125%.

However this display is too dim @ 250 nits, curved is a gimmick and it's an Acer.

Heh I mean the examples of better at/around the price are not even close, so your deal IS good. RFD has real problems with 1080p unless it's like a 15" monitor. Ah well, at least you got the good deal. That's what matters.
