I'd say get the Asus 28" (VG289Q) instead. 3 year warranty with 2 way shipping and better looking , imo.

I picked up this monitor at BestBuy last Friday. I don't play games or watch movies. It is totally fine for WFH purpose.

It is very weird this one is unable to wake up from sleep or hibernation with my Dell XPS 15, but it has no issue with my other three laptops at home. Not sure if I should go for an exchange.

Be aware it comes with a HDMI 2.0 cable only. You will probably have to pay extra for a DP cable if you really want to benefit from all features.

It has been on sale for several days. It is a good deal with IPS panel, height adjustable stand, 4ms response and built-in adapter, etc. But the cons, the zero frame is not actrual zero, it has 1/4 to 1/2 inch to the edge no display. Besides, it is not a true HDR without enough brightness and the menu is not friendly enough. Overall it is great for the price as a 4k monitor.

If you play serious games, choose LG for sure. Otherwise go for this one.

Does this monitor have the functionality to divide the screen into 2 but from the same source (laptop)?

Depends what resolution you want to play games at. I have a 2070 super which is good for 1440 so I ordered the LG one from Amazon for $465.
If you had a 2080super or Ti, then I'd maybe get this 4k one but it is also 4ms so not the quickest.

Unless you’re a competitive gamer, 4ms is irrelevant... and you can run this at 1440p. I’ll pick this up for sure over the LG

I grabbed this monitor. Works great and the stand is very simple and adjustable, which is clutch for me as I can't sit in one position all day.

It is sufficiently high def and makes my eyes happy. No gaming, just driving from a Surface Go 1-64.
