Are these monitors still worth it if you plan to connect them to a console? Thanks.

Is 2 of these curved monitors better as dual monitor than flat ones? Also compared to 49” Samsung 1080 version for the sake of reducing the risk of issues past warranty time and cheaper too. I’m not a gamer.

I've never used a WQHD before. how well does it downscale to 1080p if I want to use a current gen console on it?

I prefer IPS over VA or TN panel any day.24 inch is sweet spot for 1080p resolution,27 inch one has 4ms response time which the Vx240y is 2ms,I have the vx240y over clocking to 165hz,the gaming experience on it is butter smooth, otherwise if you want go for 1440P,you have to invest more in gpu as well.

I remember buying this in June at $229.99. It was my first time getting a monitor for anything over 75 Hz so I was really impressed with the frame rate.

Sometimes its so smooth that I can't track my mouse on a white background.

Purchased this earlier this month, was a huge difference compared to my old samsung one.
I managed to get them to provide lowest price guaranteed.

would this monitor be good in a dual monitor setup? not sure which monitors would be ideal for this.

Choose a monitor that suits your needs. Then get it x2.

AFAIK there are no monitors that are better suited to having 2 of them plugged into your computer vs having 1.

As long as you have 2x the same monitor (for aesthetics and PPI consistency), you should be good.
If you have to ask if I'm being sarcastic, I am.

Yes and no. IPS & 2ms GTG is good no matter your gaming source. However, with this monitor you are paying a premium for 165hz and your console is unlikely to be taking advantage of this. Most console games typically lock to 60 or 30 FPS.

The new consoles around the corner have much better support for a monitor like this, but they might require HDMI 2.1.
