The Duet has the better screen and solution, but this is more 'normal' laptop with better keyboard and slightly bigger screen, more ports. Same processor though.

It seems like every Chromebook under $600 only has 4GB/64GB EMMC. You have to pay $870 for the HP x360 to get 8/128. That's a big price jump from the $300 range that many 4/64 units are going for.

For most use cases it really doesn't matter because ChromeOS is meant for online usage mostly.

FYI Costco has the same model (different SKU but same specs) for 10$ less and an upgraded 2 years warranty.

Best buy : CP311-3H-K9K9

Costco : CP311-3H-K0HG

Same model, same CPU, same IPS screen, same ram, same storage, same gorilla glass screen, same port selection, same bilingual keyboard, not sure what the difference is

The one available at Costco is slightly cheaper: $270, in store.

Probably because that's all you need.

64GB is way overkill for a Chromebook, most people don't put more than a few apps and that's it.

4GB is fine for it's intended use.

To be frank, paying for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage on a Chromebook is a waste of money. Bigger screen? Sure. Better keyboard? Ya. But RAM? Nah. Internal storage? Definitely no.

The HP x360 routinely goes on sale for around $550 (even less with Rakuten) on the HP store.

Very bad advice.....

repatch, you living back in time before the Play Store being available for Chromebooks?

Who in their right mind needs more than 32GB of storage on a phone? Such a little screen...People only use a computer screen for games and programs... /s

Go with the most storage on a Chromebook that one can afford - especially if multiple users accounts will be used to sign in.

I can't tell from personal experience, I'm afraid. There's plenty of information about these on the web, though. From a quick look at some webpages:

Chromebook Spin 311 (CP311-3H) Jun 2028
It seems that display panel is not IPS properly but Innolux AAS or AUO AHVA, which are IPS-like technologies (that aren't as good as IPS or PLS).

Its SoC, MT8183

Notebookcheck has a review for a similar model of the same family and also links to external reviews by others:
From the NBC review, it doesn't seem bad, though there's something unusual: "cons: power supply and video output via the same socket"
