This is a good deal. Two echo show 5 for $99. I bought this the last time they had this deal and am really enjoying them.

You could try buying one of each color. Sometimes that works, especially if they have to manually correct the price to $99 for you in store.

I got this earlier today when I saw an ad on Facebook about this deal from mobilesyrup but I'm wondering about a few things:

1) how's the sound in comparison to an echo 3rd Gen?
2) can the clock show 6 digits (seconds included)?
3) hope I can make it auto show my front camera when someone rings the door bell (via Hassio/blueiris)

Don't know about Hassio/blueiris but for Ring doorbells they finally implemented that feature where it will auto show when someone rang the doorbell. Previously you had to say "Alexa, show me the front door..." I just wish the video shows up quicker. There's still about a few seconds of delay as the Show fires up the video feed.

This highlights an important note......

It's not "buy one get another for free", it's "buy 2, get the second one free" .

You have to put two in your cart otherwise you're paying $100 and only getting one.

That said.... I'm in for a couple at this price. Going to be used primarily for spotify connect, although one might be connected via Bluetooth to my HT receiver for spotify audio.

edit: Not sure how accurate it is, but the website is claiming that this is a one day only sale, so don't sit on the fence for too long if you're interested.
