Damn I have the philips 3100 - wish they had trade in.

I would get breviille.

Manual seems to do the trick for coffee lovers.

Coffee didn’t come as hot

Does this mean a new model (3300?) will probably come out soon?
My phone plan is $400 a month for 500 MB of data.
My internet plan is $199.99 for capped internet and slow speeds.
My credit cards are the ones with annual fees but terrible rewards.
Did I RFD correctly?

Which Breville are you happy with. Considering Barista Pro. My goal is to get a Niche and Rocket too.

I had a 3100 from Costco, it is well worth the price I paid for $550. This looks even better - washing the milk frother is a hassle on 3100.

Picked up the 3200 from Phillips for $50 more. This is a good deal! I'm very happy with the machine and the Latte Go is amazing.

I understand, but isn't the 3200 a newer version of the 3100?

Miele (CM6150) makes very hot drinks/milk even on their Medium temperature settings (it has 3 settings: Medium, High, Very High)

We have a BES870XL Barista Express that we purchased on Black Friday in 2018 for $480. Works great, built like a tank. Easy cleaning/descaling. Can't say the same for super automatic - have to clean every day with weekly cleaning of the brewing unit and cappuccinatore (that thing at the front that dispenses coffee and milk).

what has to be cleaned every day? We have a 5400, it has been awesome love it . Rinse off brew group 1 x a week , takes all of 30 secs, add water , drop pucks and rinse water but not required daily. Not alot of inconvenience at all but love the selection of drinks. Our son bought the 3200 Latte Go, he has nothing but praise for it. Great price at 799 for a super if you want simplicity. One can leave the latte go in the fridge with milk in it and when empty just run it with a load of dishes in the eve when need be, dependent on how many milk based drinks one uses:)

Is it worth it? I mean, there is nothing else comparable at this price. But this is a Phillips.

That really depends on your particular preferences:
If you don't drink milk-based espresso drinks, then stick with the 1220C.
If you liked milk-based ones, then do like cappuccinos/ latte macchiatos? I prefer my lattes made in the espresso first then milk order, which would mean I need to look at the 5400 if I don't want to do it manually. :(

worth the extra money for the added features?

Supposedly you can do better with the Turin DF64 for fraction of the price of a Niche and a Crem One would be cheaper and arguably better than a Rocket Apartamento
