[Best Buy] Apple MacBook Air 13.3" (Intel Core i5 1.8 GHz/ 128GB SSD/ 8GB RAM) MQD32LL/A $999

Hey All, I purchased a new Dell laptop from BB and made an exchange to an Apple Macbook.
I just bought an Apple MacBook Air 13.3" from Best Buy at $999 price match with Staples.

On Best Buy site, it's $1199 and on Staples site it's showing as $999.
I bought at Best Buy because I needed a laptop and printer.

Recap: Apple MacBook Air 13.3" at Bestbuy $999 (PM Staples)
Took the additional offer: HP Deskjet 3755 at Bestbuy $29.99

BB has offer on the HP Deskjet 3755 at $29.99 that is Instant Ink eligible for FREE printouts when you purchase a laptop/desktop or tablet with them!
Thank you RFD community for helping me with spending money, I feel so poor now!

A fifth gen i5 processor? I'm guessing this is a 2017 model of the MacBook.

Last gen, biggest deal breaker for most would be 1440 x 900

Super cold. Would be hot for the new gen but this is the old gen with 2011 design.

It’s a cold deal. At this point, $999 should be the retail price.

That with TN screen, big bezels, 5th gen i5. It needs to be retired already.

5th gen i5-5350u, 128GB SSD (Not even 256GB?), TN sub-FHD panel...for $1000 in mid-2019...

What were you thinking? Nostalgic or thinking it's a collectible?

Apple successfully just milked another die-hard fan.

Regarding the OP's sig..."Thank you RFD community for helping me with spending money, I feel so poor now!" - Not this purchase, we have no hand in this. This is all you.

It is a 13" screen, 2k would be overkill.

For those with a 13.3 inch MBP with retina display...they've been at "2560-by-1600 native" for years.

Damn really? I love my air from about 5 years ago, still a workhorse and just changed the battery so 11 hours battery life is still there. This laptop was targetted to people who needed more battery life over the resolution which eats up the battery life anyways. Probably not worth it at this price but still a solid machine.
