Super cold, can't believe they are charging so much for a glorified Netflix player. I got the current model for free by signing up for Directv Now for 3 months (total cost = $105). I will admit that the remote is pretty nice, but other than that I prefer my Fire TV, which has supported 4k for a while.

BTW, your links are giving insecure connection, you should fix them to include the 'www'.

It depend.

If you speak French, Apple has the biggest collection of movies in that language. Google has close to none.
This also mean the biggest HDR collection. This is great for my frenchy family.

Otherwise, if you have an idevice, it's a nice gadget too. It's also pretty simple.

The biggest problem with that device is it don't support 24hz output... And I can't stand 3:2 pulldown motion. Nvidia shield does.

Yeah, super disappointed in them not supporting 24 fps. Very odd.

No streaming service support it except Nvidia shield or some UHD Blu-ray player like the Sony UBP X800 (native Netflix 24hz support)

UHD HDR renting and buying is Cheaper on the Apple TV.

Renting of UHD HDR on Google is 9.99-8.99.
I mean, WTF

On Apple TV it's 5.99

Buying is also cheaper. I guess Google will have to adjust their price.

Thanks for this. Exactly what I was looking for - cancelled my Apple order for the 64GB. Finally going to 4K.
