[Best Buy] ASUS 21.5" FHD 1ms GTG TN LED Gaming Monitor (129.99) Regular $189.99

Looking for the RFD community feedback on this monitor. I was gonna pull the trigger as i have it reserved for pick up but before i do i was looking for some feedback. Seems like a very good price and i basically just want to bring this up to my cottage as a second screen as we only have 1 TV up there and its for Satellite TV so this ill be mostly for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One gaming. Anyone have this monitor that can give feedback? Or any of you suggest waiting for a better deal?

Thanks!!!

But it's TN...
You can get an AOC IPS 22" for the same/ a bit cheaper price if you wanted.

Maybe, but you can't call this AOC IPS a gaming monitor. It's just not the same as a 1ms TN panel.

On the other hand, I have a 27" 1080p IPS monitor that I carry around for gaming on Xbox One and it's perfectly smooth and plenty fast. For TV watching and colorful console gaming IPS is good. For PC gaming and work I much prefer my 144hz TN panel.

Ah okay, depends on how hardcore you game. If you gotta play those 1ms twitch games at like 120 hz then def don't get the AOC. But if you place more casual games, then an IPS is fine imo.

Even Windows feels "better" using a 144hz monitor. High refresh isn't just for twitch gamers.
