First time pls be gentle

1080p touchscreen, 360° hinge
250 nits, glossy
8GB RAM (LPDDR3)
128GB eMMC
Core m3

Only negative is the LPDDR3 ram and screen brightness imo which is still good for the price. Original price is definitely inflated however.

Quick YouTube video says updates until 2026 which is also pretty weak.

It's not that bad, way better then celeron, don't underestimate the benefits of hyperthreading

PS: however this product doesn't seem to be available anymore or link is broken

8. Gigs of RAM on Chrome OS is hardly rough.. plus it's a touch screen. This is faster than an Android. Samsung tablet which is $300 if you're lucky and it comes with a keyboard

It’s very similar to 8 gb on windows, don’t kid yourself. 8 gb is enough for light tasks though, even 4 will get you by. The advantage of chromeOs seems to be the cost, because it’s hard to find a windows machine like this at the same price.

It can boost up to 3.4 GHz for short bursty workloads which is what most people will be doing on Chromebooks. People that are constantly pegging the limits of this CPU probably should be using something else.

8gb on Chrome OS is no where near the same as on Windows. 8gb is ideal for Chrome.

It’s about the same. People are still not getting it. Early Chromebooks felt faster because they used flash memory Vs slow hard drives on windows machines at the time. Chromebooks still tend to be cheaper, and they are certainly simpler.
