Rumor is the studio will be pushing out an 8K Digital Download later this year for both Infinite War and End Game.
Why? Weren’t the movies shot in 2k? This is a strange time in tech where companies come up with anything at all and then try to find ways to sell it later.

Because 4K looks a little wanting at 82" from 4 feet away.

I wish lg would continue to sell 3D TV's, When mine fails I will be gutted not being able to replace it
Blame the companies that used Active 3d. No one wanted the big clunky 3d glasses. I love my LG as well. We love 3d movies

Sounds good to me, and every decent website seems to think so as well. Forbes is one of those websites who write articles designed to create anger.
There are plenty of articles and even petitions, have a look for yourself. I just grabbed the first one... It is very noticeable to a tuned ear...

There isnt much of a market of people who sit 4 feet away from an 82” screen. This will be another piece of tech marketed towards people who don’t know any better. You might even see a bunch of journalists praise it in an oddly pr sounding way.

It really is a pointless exercise beyond 4K. This is a controversial topic on the various AV forums.

Give us some of that NeuralLink Elon, and some of that SENS de-aging Aubrey, all the electronics in the world don't make up for failing wetware.

yup, all it takes is a few astroturfers to turn something that should be obvious into a debate.

Right... im not going to be influenced by an online petition with just over 1000 people signing up. Some people think there should be more low end, lets leave it at that.

For those wanting 3D, the only way you can get it is through importing these days. Also note that Marvel/Disney got lazy and stopped making a separate IMAX-ish Variable aspect ratio on their 3D releases just before infinity war so don't expect that with this one either(despite it being a full length IMAX film)

edit:the steelbook is still a good buy if you want to flip it. These things always sell out and easily make back cost or more on ebay

What has people experiences been receiving them with no dents or dings in the mail? Im debating if this is just going to be a automatic return when I get it.

I posted this earlier but proper 3D consumer entertainment is dead in the TV format for now. It died with whimper in 2011 (mostly).

Yeah, and how else will people brag about their expensive setup that looks and sounds exactly the same as something that’s a fraction of the cost?

:)
