Is this really a hot deal, at 45$? Maybe a discussion, but a hot deal?

I'm still waiting for the entire Infinity Saga collection! Can't wait until Far From Home is out!

I'm "Johhny come lately" on this one and was wondering if the people who have already ordered got the pre-order or backorder submission? I usually jump on the pre-order but this morning, it's only backorder so I wasn't sure if there was a difference...

It’s a hot deal for the rarity of the product once it’s sold out it’s gone, similar situation with all the past marvel movie steel book.

What has people experiences been receiving them with no dents or dings in the mail? Im debating if this is just going to be a automatic return when I get it.
I usually order 2 copies of every steelbook. I ordered 3 with this one. Not taking as much of a risk.

Sounds good to me, and every decent website seems to think so as well. Forbes is one of those websites who write articles designed to create anger.
My understanding is that the Disney releases are just quiet or subdued on the audio so you have to turn it up about 15-20% more than usual to get regular sound.

I see your point, I just don't agree. There are Nes Classic Minis on ebay that go for over 200$, and these are very rare. But hardly a hot deal.

Anyway, maybe we should have a "rarities" forum for those hard-to-find expensive things.

just double dip on amazon uk. i did.
So, in the end, you're going to spend like $80-90 on one movie? Ehh no thanks. I'll just wait until later in the year and get the reg 3D BD off UK Amazon or Zavvi for like 8-10 pounds. I gave up on Steelbooks for Marvel movies anyhow--so hard to get and so limited in Canada (and even US) and then they stopped with 3D over here too so whatever. I got Age of Ultron, Civil War, and Guardians as 3D Steelbooks but those are probably going to be it. Recently ordered most of the ones I'm missing from MCU as reg 3Ds from UK on sale @ the above mentioned price, including Infinity War. By the time Far From Home is out on BD, I'd imagine Captain Marvel, Endgame, will be in the 2 for 18 pounds sales. However I'm not even sure how long 3D will keep kicking in UK as it's starting to die there too I believe.

Were these filmed in 4k?

What's everyone watching their 3d movies on? I have a Panasonic tc-55as660c led tv i bought used but really wish I could've gotten an Lg 4k oled that does 3d but they don't make 'em anymore.

3D was dead in the water back in 2011, pre-4K. Word is they're going to reboot it in the early 2020s.

I read somewhere during the shoot, they shot the movie with 6k cameras.

That seems ridiculous as they're talking about 8K releases now. Sounds like upscale city.

It was shot on a modified Alexa 65 at 6.5k, which doesn't necessarily mean it requires a 6.5K TV.

It's downresed or resampled to 4k-ish for the UHD release. A camera sensor that size creates a far different look than the standard Alexa censor, which can be 2.8, 3.2 or even 3.8 (camera dependent). You can richer colors, bigger depth of field, and so much more information.
