[Best Buy] Ballarini - Frying Pan 2-Piece Set - $24 or $37.50

Good deal on pans that are made in Italy.

Additional 50% off select clearance furniture. Discount applied in-cart.

Only difference I can see, is that the more expensive set is induction capable I believe.

Been looking and researching and buying all sorts of pans.

Here is what I have found regarding art the current deals.

$59 All clad - Bay deal
Pro: great pan. Thick and HEAVY. Can be used with high heat to sear, then thrown into the oven to finish off.
Con: for the weight of the pan, the handle feels like it was installed upside down, and the groves press into you're hand.

$59 Zwilling - Bay deal
Pro: another great pan. Great company and built on Italy. Quality.
Con: since it's not a thick steel base, can't be used on high heat. Can easily last 5+ years if you know never to use it above medium.

$24 Ballarini - Best Buy
Same as above. However, they included that "therma point".

$50 The Rock - Canadian Tire
50/50 love and hate. Quality seems to be an issue lately. Again, this zcoukd be due to people using high heat.

Long story short... What I learned, ALL non stick pans should NEVER see high heat, UNLESS it's a thick steel base.

As you can see, I'm guilty of this, as I am shopping for new pans. Haha

Is this better than “The Rock” pan in Costco?

edit: previously thought deal was over but it seems you need to head to the cart for the price to adjust like the user below me pointed out

Also, can these go in the oven?

Deal still seems to be OK, although the cheaper one is sold out online. To get the discount, it seems you need to add to cart first.
