Online they outright rejected it cus they didn't have stock and said their policy for price match required stock.
In stores they just scanned my receipt and was able to just refund the difference.

I was looking at this as well - kind of hoping Costco will lower their price to match so we can go with the Costco warranty.

This is the major indication that there's nothing to see on Boxing Day itself. Policy used to be that they'd never match Black Friday, Boxing Day, etc. It was usually repurchase on that day if lucky and refund the previous purchase.
