[Best Buy] Best Buy Grand Re-Opening Sale (Oct 25 - 27) Nationwide

This weekend, Best Buy is running a doorcrasher-type promotion at their stores to celebrate the launch of their Barrie and Richmond Hill store Grand Re-openings.

Looks like the best deals are on routers, PCs and monitors.
They might release a more detailed flyer closer to the weekend.

To clarify -- Best Buy isn't closing down locations in bulk, or opening brand new locations in bulk.
Over the past two years, they have been working to renovate some of their stores to allow for better customer experiences -- they call them "Experience Stores".

The store list at the back of the flyer lists all these "Experience Stores", but this promotion is valid at all Best Buy stores (as indicated on the cover page of the flyer).

AFAIK, experience stores remain open while they are being renovated, but they have a final "launch day" / "grand opening" day.
This door-crasher promo seems to be tied to the grand opening of the two newest Experience Stores.

Sale is now live here: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/collection ... andopening

Looks like there is a limited number of items on promo, but that there are some decent deals if you're looking for some specific gear. We're really close to black Friday, so technically you can buy an item and hold onto it to see if it gets discounted further on BF/CM.

I hope to share a list of the most compelling promos below when I have a few moments today :)

Is that regular price and it's a deal since you get a free nest hub?

I think it's pretty good and yes it's regular price with the hub free. They had the same deal in the US earlier this month. I bought it for $229 US and got the nest hub free... and with the exchange rate, it's pretty much the same price.

Apologies all -- I should have clarified what Best Buy means with "Grand Opening"
Best Buy recently invested lots of $$ into renovating some of their stores to enable customers to better interact with the products.
They aren't technically opening "brand new" stores, but are re-opening some of the renovated stores.
- Even then, the stores aren't "closed"

Best Buy is calling these "Experience Stores", and the list of those stores is available at the back of the mailer flyer.

This promotion is not limited to just the experience stores though -- it should be active at all Best Buy locations.

So all the other stores in Winnipeg, Aurora, Ajax, etc. are still open -- they're just not renovated (yet).

Staples is doing something similar, and they're calling them "Transformation" stores. There's a couple in Toronto and Montreal right now. Catching on with the times :).

The one in the flyer is the Razer Portal AC2400 Mesh Router. MSRP is $220, but down to $50 over the weekend.

There may be more deals to be had -- if Best Buy is just giving us a "taste" with this mailer flyer.
