Seeing google mini for 29 with smart light. Can you show how you get it with Google mini for 101.99?

Seems like a very solid deal. I almost pulled the trigger but in my 550 square foot condo I can only think of one light that I’d use this for. Blah

Is this actually a good deal? The whites aren't ambiance or color...

Also I have Google home, not in the Alexa ecosystem

On its own the discount is small but the free Gen 3 Dot makes it a fairly good deal.
I bought the colour kit. The novelty wore off first week and I haven't really used the colours since. They are admittedly pretty nice if you want to set themes for your place.

You can use them in combination. Each are good at certain things and Alexa has quite a few tricks (skills) of its own.

Any standouts the dot does that the home doesn't?

You can sell the hub for $20, and the Dot for $30-ish easy. So, that makes the bulbs about $18.50 each after tax, which is middling. If you need the hub, or the dot, it's a better deal, but still not fantastic.
