[Best Buy] Dell Ryzen 5 2500U 15.6'' Laptop -- $370 oos now

This budget laptop has a good price now (Seems a price error but not sure).

Specs:

Ryzen 5 2500u
4gb DDR4, 2400MHz (should be 2 slots, upgradeable)
1tb HDD (should be 1 m.2 ssd empty slot)
1080p 15.6 inch Display (looks like a TN panel)

It is not a hot price, but for a budget laptop it is not bad if you install another ram and a ssd. Seems only 10 in stock, good luck if you are interested.

Update: Seems the web has been removed by bestbuy.

I'm pretty sure this is fairly hot, $370 for 90% of an i5-8250U with a better integrated graphics chip and 1080p display

EDIT: Ugly but hot

Doubt its a price error , it's a 3 year old chip afterall . At least it's a 1080p screen .

Specs are not that great. Only good for browsing but if you start loading apps to this laptop, it's going to be slow as hell. Especially 4GB of RAM and hard drive 5400 rpm. You will end up upgrading to SSD hard drive and 8gb memory if you want this baby to run decently.

I hemmed and hawed on this deal, did a bunch of research while it was in my cart and then went to do something in the house and when I came back it was removed from my cart for being OOS.

Fair enough. It is a good deal and it would be a LOT better than the ancient laptop it would have replaced but the ancient one still kind of works OK (haha) so I think I will hold out for a laptop that is a bit better even if it costs a bit more money.

If you are only going to do some light gaming this device is sufficient. But if you want to use it for anything else at all like web browsing, not having an SSD will drive you nuts. I wish they would just use a 128gb SSD instead.

It likely would work, not crazy well but still work.

I have a desktop with 4 gigs of ram and an 7 year old amd APU (a4-3400) and it runs fine for my daughter at 1650x1050.

Price was okay if you needed something in a pinch, but such an old CPU and then limited by 4GB RAM and no SSD. One of those things where newer CPU's are such leaps and bounds better that you should just pay more up front etc. Think the HDMI was also 1.4 or older standard.
