[Best Buy] Dyson AM07 Mini Tower Fan $234.99 PM'd Costco (YMMV))

YMMV, You need price match costco.ca from bestbuy to beat the price.

AM07 is not the newest model but It's still $449.99 on dyson canada's website. In my opinion it's not really worth the original price but at $234.99 it could be a hot deal.

Here is link of costco.ca($249.99) https://www.costco.ca/Dyson-AM07-Mini-T ... 16633.html

And bestbuy($399.99) https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/dy ... 51204.aspx?

I stopped by bestbuy yesterday and picked one up. Had no issue when price matched costco.ca. They even checked the Model# 305226-01 on the box and make sure tell them this is not a MEMBER ONLY product, everyone can purchased it without membership.

You can also buy from costco.ca if you don't want any hassle from price match.

Are Dyson fans worth the extra price over a regular $20 fan?

Are Louis Vuitton leather bag worth the extra price over a regular $20 leather bag?

same idea here. but Dyson is not a luxury brand. You pay extra for their design.

Matter of note Consumer Reports has just downgraded the Dyson Stick vac
Refurbished Dyson products are a dime a dozen
While this does not directly relate to the fan
You can sure buy a lot of $20 fans for the price of a Dyson

For the basic ones, unless you have small kids, pets, or place a high value on design, I would say no, they don’t move as much air as conventional bladed fans.

At least when I was looking at them a few years ago that was the case.

The more premium ones that double as a heater and air purifier IMO are more worth it.

Wouldn’t bother price matching as you lose Costco’s unbeatable return policy if you have issues down the road. Stick with Costco.

Wouldnt you also loose costco two year warranty as well if you buy from bestbuy?

There is no 2 year warranty on fans. In fact Costco only covers certain specific items:

"Costco extends the manufacturer's warranty on televisions, projectors, major appliances and computers (excluding tablets) to 2 years from the date of purchase if the manufacturer's warranty is less than 2 years."

I got burnt on a sound bar.

If it had some sort of smart features - like being able to integrate with Google Home/Alexa - then it would have been somewhat "worth it" to buy.

I have "smart" analog fans set up around the house. They're all connected to a tp-link plug. Cost per fan is $30±.
