laminate is fine.. but do note, v11 is quite heavy for some users. But if you have a combination of carpet + laminate and want to replace a regular vacuum, then this could be a good choice. Some people rather settle for a lighter version, like the V8 for smaller mess cleanups.

Not ideal for hardwood, it can scratch it. Soft roller is better for hardwood

wait for the summer Zwillings warehouse sale if you can. they carry dyson and i got a v11 last year for 499, including extra accessories like soft roller, car seat cleaning head, corner brush thing, and one more item. soft roller is like $100+

You can buy a softroller at discounted price at Home Essential outlets.

I got mine at the Tanger outlet location.
Softrollers are really good for laminate flooring.
