The app does measure air quality and you can also control the fan from everywhere, but I am not sure it is on this particular fan.

Filters at 99 bucks kills the deal for me personally but the price for the unit itself is pretty good.

I recently replaced a Dyson TP04 with 2x Winix C535 from Costco. They're $159.99, come with 2 sets of filters - 2 years. So far, happy with these. They have an air quality sensor (auto setting), auto dim at night, etc.

If you want a purifier and don't really care about having a 'fan' as well, consider one of these.

Which Costco did you find it at? I can't find it on Costco.ca?

Just my opinion.. Don't buy this unit if you are looking for air purifier. It's not going to compare with an actual air purifier.

This is just a dyson fan with a very small hepa carbon air filtration at the base. It has the looks but no where will compare with the air exchange of other real air purifiers.

I bought mine in Calgary on a road trip. I've seen them in Vancouver at Richmond and Willingdon. They've sold out previously and they restocked. They're popular - priced well.

This.

If you want a blade fan that pushes air well and provides minimal air filtration then get this.
Else get a proper air purifier.
Also
If you complain about allergies etc. and also complain about costs of filters, then ask yourself what is your health worth?
Are you buying on price or for your health??
