[Best Buy] Dyson V10 Animal $499

Seems like a good deal? Costco has it for $699. Not sure if it’s the same though

Today's Shopping Choice has it for the same price. May want to check what is included as sometimes TSC has their own bonus items included, etc. Another advantage with TSC is that you can choose to pay it off over a year if you wish:

Which model do I want for a large house with all hard floors except stairs? From prior threads I feel there was one in particular however I don't see any sort of "buying guide" on the Dyson site.

For hardwood floors Dyson has a special motorized head for that:

https://www.dysoncanada.ca/en/support/j ... 89-01.html

I just purchased the V10 and did a lot of research prior to buying it and in one of the videos I watched, they did a test using the Dyson V8 and V10 on hardwood with this attachment and there was no material difference in cleaning power.

The V10 has 3 power settings which is the first time theyve done that - the V6,V8 did not offer the 3 settings, it was either low or high. if you are cleaning regularly, the low power setting gives really good battery life (approx 40 min) on the larger battery V10.

For anybody that does buy the dyson V10 and are looking for an extension hose to clean cars / stairs easier, buying it directly through Dyson is cheaper than 3rd party outlets

https://www.dysoncanada.ca/en/support/j ... 64-01.html - $23.99 on Dyson.ca and other extension hoses on amazon / other sites are more expensive for 3rd party.

The Dyson hose is a 24" hose, but to keep suction high you dont want a 4-5 ft hose.

Just don't leave these charging overnight.

I bought a refurbished V6 four to five and still holding good charge.

I use an outlet with a timer that shuts off in two hours.

I also don't keep charging it even after short usage. Probably better to not charge while hot too.

I owned a V8 for a condo and it drained way too fast. It drains to a single bar after every use for a 600 sq ft unit. It's not just flooring you have to consider, you can vacuum your car and sofa too.

Is there a Dyson model where people actually got satisfactory battery life? As in they were able to vacuum their house without having to stop after every room or so? It seems every review is either a 1 star or a 5 star - no in between. Curious to know what experiences people have had on here or what you may know about it.
