This carrier only holds the baby facing one direction but can be carried on the back, front or hip. The Ergobaby 360 does the same, but the baby can be faced outwards. That's what Psyclist was saying with regards to "frontwards" on the 360 vs the original.

I used the 360 (still have it) when my little guy was small enough. Loved it. He loved it. Personally never carried him facing outwards, but my wife did!

thanks OP. got the moonstone. neutral in color and without that stars stitches in case Ill be wearing it. our next is due in 2 months. The 360 could have been sweet but at this price, this is great and we have the phil&teds Escape Baby Carrier for extreme outing from previous deal.

I recommend getting the 360 - your baby will be very excited to see new things on the forward facing carry.

Goes on sale at best buy for about $100.

Our little lady loves the 360, faced outwards its great for hikes where she gets to look around too, and faced in for the times she is more inclined to just sleep. But this is a good price on the original if that doesnt matter to you!

I ordered the Moonstone and got it today. Fits great. These have good resale value. You need the insert separately if you're going to use it with a newborn though

I had the Ergobaby Love Notes and noticed how it's 100% cotton both inside AND outside. I noticed the moonstone I received Outside is Canvas material which seems to be less comfortable as the texture is more hard.
Anyone got the other model Galaxy Grey and is outside also Canvas texture or smooth cotton??
