Not really sure why one would need a Google Home Max. If you want good sound, might as well buy a real speaker and link it to a mini.

The mini doesn't have aux out, so you're left with Bluetooth. "Real speaker"... Yea...

Inb4 modded mini with headphone jack...

Here we go again.

I still haven't been able to find a speaker solution that is 1 corded solution that sounded nice enough and powerful enough to fill the room at $250.

If you're looking for best sound quality in a Google-enabled speaker, you would probably want to compare this to the Sonos One, the other speaker with Google Assistant that is comparable in sound quality.

Google Home Max: better integration with Google Home, supports Bluetooth and analog 3.5mm connections

Sonos One: cheaper, supports Alexa as well as Google Assistant (not both at once), supports output from home automation systems (more difficult with Google Home speakers), but no Bluetooth and no analog audio input - strictly WiFi

Willing to split in Calgary if offer is available here.
- Don't support hoarding. Do your research, decide on the price you want to pay for it. Don't ever pay more than that.

Not a fair comparison at all.
You should compare Google Home Max to Sonos Play 5 instead.
