Great little speaker with a ton of power.

Is the sound core boom for $45 ish more when on sale worth it over this? Primary usage would be a large room for parties etc.

I've tried the Soundcore Select Pro which as I understand it is similar to the Soundcore Boom. The Select Pro is for sure worth it at around $45 more as it has much better power output and floats too.
both are great for parties, but if it were me I would buy two flare 2s and use the partycast feature to sync them up

Good price if you won't buy "renewed". With the 2 pack of renewed on for the same price though, I think most people would go that route.
