[Best Buy] HOT? Dell 27" 1440p 144Hz 1ms G-Sync monitor

This seems like a pretty great deal?

I picked up the BenQ 27" 1440p 144Hz 5ms monitor a few days ago that was on a great deal at Best Buy and Amazon, but for $50 more I'm wondering if this is even better?

It has G-Sync and a 1ms response time instead of 5ms.

Is this worth getting and returning the other one to Amazon?

TN Panel, BenQ was IPS.

This needs to be $300 to be considered warm in comparison to the BenQ.

$450 is standard sale price for this monitor, even hitting $400ish regularly.

There are some IPS monitors with good response times now but you do have to pay a premium for them.

The premium for g-sync monitors isn't really justified now that Nvidia cards support freesync monitors. I have one that's not on the approved list and it works fine. TN panels look washed out and their response time is only marginally higher than modern IPS displays. I personally think the best monitor feature combination would be 144hz 1440p freesync IPS 27-32".
