Is this a hot deal? I'm not 100% sure and want someone to share some more insights.
This is a VA panel right? Not IPS is it? Would the 40 inch Philip VA 4k be better?

Wow, thanks! Was able to snag one last time @ $699 so I just called BB to get credited $100+tax. Very nice monitor!

Not really an orange-to-orange comparison. This one is a ultrawide curved monitor...

Well true. Even consider the size, width and height, the 40 inch 4K Philip will provide more real estate being much taller and a little narrower. I'm a bit torn.

some reviews on amazon.com really concerns me, probably that's why it much cheaper than Dell 34" curved one.

The only complaint I have for this monitor is the lack of vertical adjustment. I find the monitor sits a tad too low so it would have been nice to be able to lift it up a bit. I know I can place it on something like a phone book to get it higher, but something built into the stand would have been nice.

The Philips is a beautiful monitor for $699. I own one, you wouldn't regret your purchase

Grabbed one for 699 earlier last week (and it was fulfilled) was happy with the purchase at that price, and now i'm even happier lol. Upgraded from a Dell U2715H and I'm pretty satisfied. I guess the MSRP went down for this monitor as the sale for 699 also said $500 off

Good price but wow those side speakers make it look extremely ugly, not removable is it?

Great price, however those huge, ugly side speakers really are not needed. Wish someone would make a 34" Ultrawide with infinityedge style bezels, a gentle curve, and Gsync/freesync for around this price.

I too wish I could grow gold out of trees

The gsync module alone is 300$ US

So when I checked the site yesterday it said out of stock, available for backorder and the Add to Cart button was available. Now it says sold out online and the button is greyed out. Is there any way to get a hold of this monitor at this price now?
