UPDATE- Now up to $300, or $240 "open box" It's been as low as $188, so keep checking if interested.
The "open box" one I got in mid-February for $200 was brand new, nothing had been opened as far as I could tell.

I bought one of these -it's an inexpensive but totally adequate TV. My reading suggested we don't need 4K as we'll be like 8ft away, so 4K resolution would be lost for a TV of this "smaller" size.
I didn't see a lot of other "deals" posted here about TV's in the 40-46 inch size range.
Consumer Reports for this model basically says the picture seems fine, Insignia is amoung the most durable brands, sound is poor (But I've an external speaker)
Very happy with our purchase.
