The r2d2 one is paying for the look and less features. "Better" is, in a very big part, a matter of opinion and personal priority. That said, the costco one has a sous vide feature, which I have no experience with

Well R2D2 is primarily a display piece with the option of cooking stuff, comparing to other Instant Pots is not a valid comparison lol
