I just bought a iPhone 12 64GB for $949 - $200 (Fizz Promotion) - $100 (Fizz Coupon on my account probably for being a early adopter) and I am paying $40 a month tax in to get 9 GB data & unlimited texts/calls. Worth it? I couldn't find any 12 for less than $750 on Kijiji. I have 15 days to return it if I can find a better deal.

33.33 x 24 months - bonuses (200+100) = 500
Though technically if you're coming from Koodo 11gb/40 deal you'd be paying 9 months of the same plan at 50 instead of 40 so that's an extra 90 on top of the 500.

I just bought an iPhone 12 128GB from theMobileShop with Koodo on $50 plan ($40 after promotion for 15 months, and $50 afterwards for the remaining 9 months), $0 down, $33 a month for 24 months. I price matched with BestBuy's offer on their website getting back 200k PC points ($200) on top of that traded a 10 years old HTC Desire S to get additional 100k PC points (could only use this $100 to buy accessories). Not done yet? Added another line for my roommate, gave another old scrap phone (a Pixel XL in bootloop) for additional $100 towards accessories. Got the $10 off for 15 months on both lines and $5 additional for 24 months on the second line. Over all, got $600 in PC points, two $33 a month phones and two plans with 12GB each. The store only had two 128GB left and they mentioned there are only $72 left countrywide. I think if you go up to a store they can tell you where are the remaining ones hiding.
PS. to all the people doing trade ins, try not to give them phones that you may be able to sell in local marketplace for over $100.

Thanks OP, I'm with Koodo currently on their $40/6GB plan but I have the 5GB and 3GB free add-ons so 14GB total, but if I end up upgrading I lose the add-ons. Monthly price stays the same but I can upgrade from my XR. Sweet!

Just went to Bestbuy to get this
On top of that, they also offered me another 100GC + free glass protector if I signed up 2 months of protection plan (which costed about $28)
so really, at the end, I get $300 Bestbuy GC, + 100 phone credit for a iPhone 128GB, -$28.
I think it is very nice deal?!

For 15 month's anyways...I'd consider giving up PM migration plan if it was 24 x $40 possibly strategy for actual BF.game_fanatic wrote: ↑Thanks OP, I'm with Koodo currently on their $40/6GB plan but I have the 5GB and 3GB free add-ons so 14GB total, but if I end up upgrading I lose the add-ons. Yeah kind of a bummer I'll see an increase in month 16, but the fact I can trade in an old crap phone (probably going to use my iPhone 4 with a non-functioning home button) it offsets the increasecanucks4life wrote: ↑ For 15 month's anyways...I'd consider giving up PM migration plan if it was 24 x $40 possibly strategy for actual BF.![]()

Might be a dumb question to ask but do I need to trade a phone or can it be something like an old ipod touch for the 100$ gift card? Since someone said here that they traded a flip phone, I wonder if they accept something along the lines or an ipod touch since it's accepted in the trade in at Best Buy

I have the same plan as you and contemplating of this deal. I will lose the $40 for 14 GB plan for the upgrade if I go for the deal. My tab just finished last month and so far my current phone is in good working order. Hard decision....game_fanatic wrote: ↑ Yeah kind of a bummer I'll see an increase in month 16, but the fact I can trade in an old crap phone (probably going to use my iPhone 4 with a non-functioning home button) it offsets the increase

Anybody see other similar deals with iPhone 11/12? Looking to purchase one but not sure if this deal is quite that good. Looking from previous years it's not going to get much better than this on Black Friday? Perhaps I'm wrong.

Is this extra 10 dollars a month off and 100 dollar trade-in GC only advertised in-store? I can't find anything about it online. (I'm also doing a shitty job of looking but still.)

As others have stated, they do need the imei number and I don’t think an iPod touch has that. Someone correct me if I am wrong.stevensi1018 wrote: ↑ Might be a dumb question to ask but do I need to trade a phone or can it be something like an old ipod touch for the 100$ gift card? Sorry I should have clarified, I got this deal at the mobile shop earlier on Fido (exact same plan + pricing)WhatsTheRush wrote: ↑ In the past they would only let you use the gift card (Pc Points) on the upfront cost (ie. on a phone that is 0$ upfront you couldn't use any PC points to pay for that. Are you saying you can use the pc points for the tab amount?
Anyhow TheMobileShop isn't offering this deal for Koodo...
They were offering 200 + 100 gift cards for T&T, and I was able to forgo the cards and apply it as credits to reduce my phone price.
