[Best Buy] Jabra elite 85h $279 with free portable speaker - price error

Heres a review comparing them to the Sony mx3 and bose qc 35, the tldr is they are not as good, but if you can get them at a discounted price like these it's worth it (qc35 cost around 350-400 new) and the sony's ste around $300

These wireless headphones include a free bluetooth speaker and are $70 off. Stacks with the coupon 13HRSONLY The error occurs cause it counts the "pre discount price" which includes the portable bluetooth speakers these are being discounted by $50 with the coupon instead of $25 despite being under $500.
After coupon: $316.39 with
taxes + bluetooth speaker

Save $25 on purchases $250-$499.99*

Save $50 on purchases $500 or more*

Add eligible products to cart and apply promo code 13HRSONLY during the review stage of checkout.

*Coupon valid only for BestBuy.ca purchases from September 15, 6pm ET – September 16, 7am ET. Coupon is not eligible for Reserve and Pick Up orders. Purchases must be between $250-$499.99 or $500 or more, before taxes and fees, to qualify.

Gift Cards, Content Cards, Geek Squad Services & Protection Plans, Delivery Services, Video Games (including software and consoles), Apple, Miele, Nixon, Tumi, Victorinox, Microsoft Surface, Adobe, Oculus, HTC Vive, Samsung Galaxy Note10, Samsung Galaxy Note10+, Bose, and Marketplace products do not count towards the qualifying purchase thresholds. Not valid on previous purchases. Promo code required at time of order.

From reviews I read, Sony beat them in everything except battery and the ability to connect to multiple devices. Though the Sony's also cost much much more.

I know it comes free but is that bluetooth speaker really worth $430?

The price error is that you get $50 off with the coupon instead of $25.
The coupon gives 25 off for 250-499 and 50 for 500+. Because the headphones come with the $400 bluetooth speaker the prediscount price is 800, meaning it gets the $50 discount instead of the $25, bringing it down from $400 to $279. If the coupon worked properly it would be at $304.

I think the "real" price error here is the Harman Kardon speaker showing at $429. A quick eBay search shows average price of $90-$100.

The speaker was originally positioned as a Homepod competitor, so they might have tried to sell it for $300 USD, but obviously there were no takers, and it seems like it was discontinued quickly and cleared out at much lesser price of $100.

I would say $100 or so is more than fair, since the device looks a lot more sophisticated than what you get in a $100 Echo device.

Good deal to get a speaker (if you need one) and the coupon error for these headphones. The ANC on these headphones is pretty weak, but everything else seems solid. I would still spend a bit more to get the Sonys but if you aren't commuting on noisy buses/trains/planes, this seems like a good compromise
RFD is not just about saving money, it's about the thrill of the hunt and getting the stuff I want without paying full price like Joe Shmoe did.
This applies to everyday items as well as high end items that I don't really need.

Much ado about nothing.
Not mush of a price error.
Doesn't deserve "price error" in the title.

Get the refurbished Bose QC35s instead for the same money.
