Can you use best buy GCs to buy prepaid Visa/MasterCard? I called a best buy store and they told me you can only buy GCs for other stores?

In Mississauga, can anybody confirm ?
I think you can, the system will allow it but the reps aren’t suppose to do it anymore. Varies by store and rep so you gotta try your luck.

Can anybody speak to the camera quality/general perception of the Pixel 3a and how it fares compared to its flagship counterparts? The idea of the budget pixel doesn't interest me, but if it's relatively identical to the Pixel 3/3XL everywhere it counts, I don't mind rolling the dice and dolling out for one.

It's the same as the flagship Pixel 3, just the processing takes 1sec more

Interesting. When did this come into effect? Last time I went, reps didn’t mind me buying prepaid card with the gc.

I am not sure, i called a bb store in mississauga/oakville and she said no, it might just be the rep.

No idea of timeline but I’ve had 2 friends that do these Koodo deals often mention it to me this month. One said they’ve experienced it at Walmart, the other Best Buy. They just tried a different person/location and got it done eventually.

Why bother calling, just port out with a $4 SIM from Dollarama. Saves you the hassle. I have no mercy for Koodo, if they want to stop this they simply have to give 100% of the credit as bill credits so that if you leave before two years you lose a part of the deal pro rata.

3a has much fewer software bugs. We had two Pixel 3 and both were really bad. One developed screen flash, the other cannot be used for voice calls due to crappy audio. Both problems are well known, and Google has done nothing so far.

3a doesn't have waterproofing (hope it should survive a year or two), QI charging (cheap move), or unlimited Google Photos storage in original quality (greed), but it seems to be working so far.

Once iPhone XR goes down to sub-$600, I'll probably move.

Looking for the Samsung A70 on a $0 down Medium Tab this long weekend! I like the bezeless design more but the camera on the Pixel 3A line is definitely impressive.

Forgive me for the dumb questions, I'm not familiar with Koodo.

You get a medium tab and you have a balance of $360 that you have to pay off.
So after you get the phone and cancel, you just have to pay them the $360 + whatever fees or taxes. Is that how it works?
