I missed that ebay deal last month, but I saw this open box version of the Lenovo yoga 6 for 799.99
normal price on BB site is 999.99
My partner uses a yoga 730 i7-8th gen for work and she wanted a personal one.

13.3 inch Touch Screen 1920x1080 (should be 300 nit based on lenovo site)
AMD Ryzen 5 5500u
512GB SSD
8GB Ram

Any thoughts on this item?
Or any better 2-in-1 laptops as a better option?

I have plenty of Open Box items from Best Buy and they all work just fine, just stress test it to make sure and you'll be fine, only thing I wouldn't trust is a spinning HDD but thats hardly the case nowadays.

As for the deal itself for $799 one should get minimum 16GB, especially if the Yoga line has solder non upgradable RAM.

I'm shopping for something similar and saw this as well. Seemed fine but some of the refurbs on best buy are sold by third parties, so do your research. There's a similar Lenovo on Walmart 8gb/256 for $699 and 8/512 one at London drugs for $799 both are AMD 5500u and 14". They both seem like warm deals given the supply chain issues. AMD 6000 series is coming probably in April if you can wait, they should have intro prices around $699 I'm guessing.

There might be more detail coming from CES next week.

Thanks. I'll see if the wifey can wait till April. I ordered one of these open box laptops that are from BB not a 3rd party. see how it checks out.

The unit in the OP is a Geek Squad Open Box. Those are "like-new", and definitely better than used.
