isnt it cheaper to buy a m.2 sata 3 from canada computers and stuff into a aliexpress case? and u will get the limit speed of usb 3.0

newbie to ssd

so basically all my photos on my hp computer with windows 7..i can put it all on this ssd drive and store it there,,and from there i can put all my photos, now that are onto the ssd drive and transport it to another computer if i wish...correct

Or install Google Backup & Sync and upload it all to Google Photos for free. If you don't mind some compression.

But you are correct in your question but for the same price you could get a 3TB portable hdd.

Fine print at the bottom says this: *USB 3.1 Gen 2 required for up to 550MB/s read transfer, write transfer speeds lower. Speeds based on internal testing. Actual performance may vary.
