Much better off going with the Dell monitor for a net cost of about $43 more when factoring in Rakuten 15% cashback:

https://www.dell.com/en-ca/shop/dell-32 ... ccessories

469.99 - 10% (10%OFFMONITOR) = $422.99
Eco fee would be the same on each so they cancel each other out.
Assuming 15% tax, then Rakuten cancels out tax. The LG would be $379.49 with tax.

The Dell has a better response time, and 3 year premium warranty as opposed to the LG's 1 year warranty.

The Dell is definitely worth considering but one little clarification about your post: the LG also comes with a 3-year warranty for those that purchase the monitor either today or tomorrow.

This is because LG is offering a free upgrade to their 3 year warranty for any Ultragear monitor purchased on or before August 31.

my dell 27 inch 1440p monitor (s2716dg) has a 144hz refresh rate BUT does not output 120hz 1080p for the PS5. Crazy that it can't but something to warn folks about that are expecting to use for console gaming.

I wonder if I’ll be able to squeeze into the warranty extension.

Ordered one end of June, but order didn’t actually ship, and have my card charged until July.

I've been going back and forth in my head and I'm gonna sleep on it tonight and potentially pull the trigger on this monitor tomorrow

By all accounts it seems like a great deal. What I've found so far is that you've gotta spend closer to $450-$500 to get a noticeably better monitor (Something like the 32GP83B-B from Bestbuy @ $500). But there's a big difference between $300 and $500 obviously.

I signed up a couple of weeks back. No earbuds or confirmation of warranty so far.

I got it before it was dead. Debating whether to keep it or go for this one.

Where do you see 15% Rakuten on the Dell.
