Yeah, that's the "SmartShift" functionality -- it automatically changes from the click-spin-mode to freespin mode if you scroll quickly. You can disable it in the Logitech Options software.nightwalker wrote: ↑ My scroll wheel starts spinning uncontrollably when I spin it too fast.
Is this a feature that can be turned off?

I think he meant that if you scroll fast enough even when it's on "slower" if you scroll fast enough it starts going. But I think that's the Smartshift functionality explained by @costabile . I'll check it when I get home. I found it annoying also.

The 2S doesn't have larger battery. It's the same 500mAh. The 2.0Wh is wrong. There's even one with 1.9Wh printed which is more correct, rounded up from 1.85Wh. The longer battery life is the results of newer hardware, which the one on sale here in this thread of yours already has.dracolnyte wrote: ↑ just sensor, still don't have the software and dont have the larger battery

So as as true RFD’er I traded in 50,000 petro-points for a $50 gift card, then used the gift card to pay for the mouse, costing me only an actual $6!
Seems like a great mouse so far.
