That is a good looking mouse. If I didn't have a g700s I would get this immediately
This is RFD. Impulse control doesn't exist.

I'm surprised a 1000dpi mouse is so popular

Maybe because a good mouse is not defined only by dpi???

Never said it was. It looks like a very sound mouse - ergonomics wise. However I just thought that below 1500dpi would be cumbersome and slow for most but clearly I'm wrong.

DPI (dots per inch) is a measurement of resolution, it's your mouse's sensitivity to movement. 1000 DPI means the optics is able to detect and report 1/1000th of an inch of motion as input. To put it in perspective, a retina display on the new iPhone has ~450 pixels per inch, and the pixels are not visible to your eye. For this to be insufficient, your hand would have to be able to detect difference in travel on less than half of a pixel on an iPhone. All while ignoring the polling rate, surface defects, etc.

So I'd say yeah 1000 dpi is enough

I don't get why its on sale till June 13, 2019 but its sold out on the first day.

You would think BestBuy would have adequate stock especially when it is 50% off.

I would imagine they are clearing out their stock since the second version is out for quite a while now.
