look under your mouse where the charging port is, if it says R0066, then it is a rebranded MX 2S or MX with 2S internals

Yes indeed it says MR0066 Smiling Face With Open Mouth

Battery life is 40 days in first gen and 70 days in the 2S. Warranty is also 2 years in 2S and 1 year in first gen. DPI is 4000 in 2S and 1000 in first gen
slight correction, according to official logitech specs, the DPI can go up to 1,600. But seems like they are sending out MX with 2S internals now, so potentially 4000 DPI

By the looks of it it seems that it's the first edition. As I said I'm not that savvy, maybe someone will be able to check if indeed is the components of the second edition. Mine is out for delivery (fingercrossed).

Yeah mine from backorder is also a M-R0066 and looks identical to the Master 2S on Logitech's site except it has the "logitech" name spelled out in full instead of just "logi"

Lol, my mouse also says 66, but it could just be a part being used by both mice. The sensor and battery might still be from the Mx Master, not the 2S

Mine is coming next week but if anyone is feeling adventurous in opening up their mouse to see, can verify if the sensor is different from the 1st gen Pixart PMW3806DM-BMQF

Gen 2 sensor: PMW3816DM-TYQU

Battery are the same in both mice at 500mah, but gen 1 is 1.85Wh while gen 2 is 2.0Wh
Gen 1: L/N: 1604

Gen 2 (blue wheel): L/N: 1811

Apparently gen 1 is laser sensor while gen 2 is optical

I can't find my star-head screwdriver, or I would tear mine open.

This mouse is amazing for daily use (not for gaming), love the size and ergonomic form factor of the mouse.

My main issue is that it uses internal batteries rather than AA batteries. I checked my Amazon purchase history to see that I bought mine about 2.5 yrs ago (Feb 2017) and the battery of the mouse barely lasts 3 days lately.

$50 is a great price for it though.

Aside from price, which is the best price for performance and ergonomics?

I'm looking for a mice and headset. I just tried the g602 and m705 and also the g430 headset.

Can someone with the MR0066 MX Master please confirm whether or not the DPI can be increased past the MR0057 MX Master’s maximum of 1600 DPI?

Hot damn, first Bose was sending folk QC 35 II's instead of QC 35s, now Logitech? I love it.

I bought the MX Performance in 2015 (I think) for $50. It was starting to be used out but it's still working just fine, and still a very good mouse. I was happy to see that deal for MX Master which is almost the same mouse . Grabbed one at Rosemère today. I have the M-R0066 too!
