[Best Buy] Low power 3070 laptop Asus TUF ( open box ) $1499

I think it is pretty good deal for Best Buy open box item

At 1500 plus box for 3070 chip ,

The rest spec is good i7 /512/16GB

No webcam and low power 3070 , buyer beware

And 1080p but 144hz. Not bad deal so this card would be similar to desktop 3060 which sells for 600. Reasonable deal at 1500. Anything with a new card in still too expensive lol.

Seems pretty awful that, the higher wattage rtx 3060 laptop has better performance then this low powered rtx 3070 so that's pretty awful in my eyes

4 core CPU also. Dell g15 is a better deal.

Having used many Dell's over the years, I'd rather roll the dice on them than have a laptop guaranteed to break a month or two out of warranty.

Were the thermals improved this year? Last year's model suffered from throttling due to high temps from an insufficient cooler/case design.

Meh, I would judge based off the product instead of painting the whole company as poor. The Dell XPS lineup is solid, as is the ASUS Zenbook lineup. I would not judge either lineup differently if I had an Inspiron or ROG laptop with issues.
