This is almost the same price for who already has Game Pass and wants to own the game. But it's good to see the price coming down. I hope to buy it in the future.

It's a totally new version, and it's great. No longer constrained by how much can be stored on a series of DVDs because most of the scenery is being streamed. Really important for a sim that is supposed to model the entire world. Much of it is photo realistic, a huge improvement from the repetitive tiles they used to have. Mind you, it was 14 years since the last version, which, looking back, was like the middle ages in terms of how things have progressed in terms of anything tech related...

Unfortunately "This content is digitally downloaded through Xbox Live. You will need to register through Xbox Live in order to download and play."
It's available on Steam but full price now. Hopefully it will be discounted some day.

If you're not playing this through repeated $1 game pass deals you're not doing it right

By "old" I meant 2006. I didn't even know it existed in 1982.

It's the single most technically ambitious visually impressive release of the past 5-10 years

I'm sticking with Flight Simulator 1.0. With current hardware, it gives the highest framerate by far.

It's the Earth 1:1 with big cities with buildings, it will be difficult to have a better sim, it will just perform better over time.

You can play this well on a Xbox series S or X. Current gen consoles have come a long way and Microsoft’s decision to release this on console as well as been great.

There is no 2006 version for console, and never was... (in fact there is no other version for console or ever was...)
