OK so here's a calculation of the final price for anyone who is interested. FYI I used $5 as the usage fee assuming you cancel right away and am using BC taxes (12%)

What you pay on your first bill = $360 (tab) + $5 (usage) + $35 (activation) + taxes = $448

GC = $200 (or around $192 if you get a prepaid visa/mc)

Net cost = $448 - $200 = $248

So in all you will get an iPhone 8 for $248 (or $256 if you swap for a prepaid visa/mc).

Yes it's definitely ice cold lol - maybe they are waiting for $0 down + tab small + 200 GC like we've seen with the iPhone 6s and 7.

Koodo spoils me so much that I don't buy phones unless they're at least 70% off now.

I hope offer applies to upgrades too. If not churning will be enviable despite how against churning koodo is

I may just have to do this.
I talked myself out of it with the $100GC.. but.. this may be my price to jump in.

damn I wish I had waited. I got the s10e from the previous deal because I thought the loophole was about to close. I'm frustrated with android and considering going back to my old 6S

So I am new to this. My sister is with Fido and wants a new IPhone.

Do I just sign up with a new random number and then cancel the line while giving her the iPhone to use on Fido? It's that simple?

Yes correct. Walk into BB and get the deal on the lowest tier plan available on the Med TAB. Get a new number.

You can either register online for self serve and port the number over to a prepaid Bell SIM card. Or call in immediately to cancel the line.

It's a great deal, jump on it!
