Anyone try to pricematch this deal with walmart? I do not have a use for bb gift cards but we shop alot at walmart.
You can spend $7.25 or something like that to activate a Prepaid Visa using a Best Buy gift card, so you can get a ~$192 Prepaid Visa instead of a $200 Best Buy GC.

Is this price with which tab? med? or large?
The $200 GC is with the large tab on S9. You can alternatively just go for a medium tab with no GC for $0. (Large tab $480 + tax with a $200 GC will net you a slightly better deal than medium tab $0 with no GC $360 + tax) by about $65 (or $57 if you want a prepaid visa instead of Best Buy GC)

The $100 GC is with extra large tab on S9 Plus. Alternatively you can get large tab at $0 (I had a $50 GC yesterday, not sure if this is still valid)
Extra large tab is $720 over 2 years, or $30/month. This nets the deal at $620. Vs going on a large tab at $480 (even without a GC) - the large tab wins.

Past deals, no. Assuming nothing has changed but we will need to see the fine print on the new deals. Maybe someone will be nice enough to post it. Plan prices have gone up, hopefully when it comes to hardware there are no changes. As of now, no. Buy and cancel as you see fit, keep the gcs.

As for existing customers, where's the love? By this time last year there were more deals on.
Public Mobile $23 plan, $10 credits ongoing
Koodo $29 plan with Google Pixel 2 XL, $50 credits ongoing
EBox $42, group buy $2 off

I take it the S9+ on Large is an exclusive offer with BestBuy? I see the koodo website says extra large.
I've been keeping a close eye on P20 Pro and S9+ for my new phone.

S9 : ((15*24)+35+1/30*40)*1.15= 456$ tx inc.
S9+ : ((20*24)+35+1/30*49)*1.15-50= 544$ tx inc.
I believe Koodo also charge a $30 cancellation fee.

that's about right, atleast in YUL, i sold two S9's in that range last week.
Are we comparing $456 on BB vs $500 on Kijiji for S9 and $544 on BB vs $600 on Kijiji for S9+?

I didn't see that when I bought the iPhone 8 and cancelled during Christmas.

Pretty well much. Best of Black Friday/Boxing Day sales, people were scooping up S9/+ at $300-400 and flipping them on the market, S9 for double at $600 and $800 for the +. There was so much market saturation that people were not able to or having trouble selling them. Either BNIB or LNIB. Now, people are still trying to sell these phones while they have dipped in value to the point where if you were still carrying a BF/BD S9/+, you be lucky to break even if you got one from Koodoo for the profit of flip.

These also are brand new with full warranty. To some, that is even worth a few extra dollars IF it was to be that route.

What was the best price for S9+ on BF/BD? Rn, it's $0 on Large with $50 gc if I am not mistaken.

BB is Best Buy. FS was Future Shop. WM is Walmart. CC can be Canada Computers or credit card. CCC is camel camel camel. GC is gift card and PM can be Public Mobile, price match or private message.

I just tried getting an S9 on a large tab and $200 gift card and they wouldn't let me because I got an S8 on a medium tab in 2017 and cancelled it the same day. The employee said I'm on the hook for the medium tab I paid out early.

I went to Best Buy.
Told them I wanted to buy an S9 with Koodo on a Large Tab.
They said no.
They said the reason is because I bought a phone in 2017 and cancelled the same day.
