Best buy has the ooma 11 sensor home security kit on for $179.99

The wife wants a home phone for our new house for when the in laws are over watching our daughter and we need a security system for the new house and I would rather a wireless diy solution so this seems like a good solution

They suck. I’ve now been paying for 2 months after the trial. Every time I call their wait lines are indefinite. And no answer to emails or online cancellation. The system is amazing. But wish I didn’t sign up for the trial

I would be skeptical dealing with any company that does not have any bricks and mortar in order to go in to complain to cancel a service. Sounds like it was a great service initially but once they grow and become "profit" orientated aka Carrytel, service/customer service starts going down hill.

I've had Ooma for a few years now and have used the chat support for some billing issues a couple times and they've been quick to reply and helpful.
