Good Day! Need to get a monitor for my son for online schooling and this seems to be a pretty great deal for the dollar.

My Best Buy source said cost on these were lower before but now cost is more than the sale price.

Reviews seem decent and I can't find better value: https://www.techradar.com/reviews/benq-ex3203r

Freesync 2.0 works with an NVIDIA card from my understanding so will be interesting for those games.

He doesn't need a 4k monitor as 2k is good for gaming needs.

It's not true HDR but my significantly more expensive Dell Alienware monitor doesn't have HDR either.

In stock and free shipping seems great. Don't forget ebates.

Cheers

I had this monitor with Nvidia GPU. Unless you tweak settings using CRU, you'll have blank screens 1~2 seconds in game menus and transitions. Has to do with LFC.
Even with tweaks using CRU I couldn't get all games to run perfectly, though it might be possible with the right settings.

Curved screens are a bit gimmicky but to each their own.

A fixed stand VA monitor shouldn't cost this much. Same specs monitors with adjustable stand / VESA compatible were in the range of 400 or below. Adding curve isn't worth $100 imo.

Good deal. Will pull the trigger if not bought Dell S3220DGF for $500 including tax 3 weeks earlier.

This Samsung (C32JG5) seems a bit better of deal, no? https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX74242

VA, 144hz, WQHD, 32, and VESA 75

While I'm not saying you're wrong, but could you link similar spec'd (32, non-TN, 144hz, WQHD) on the sub 400?

Also available at Staples.ca with free shipping , and the $20off100 coupon that was supposed to expire on March 15th still works (93258).

Amazon.ca also had this monitor for the same price but ran out of stock last night.

Nice find (also available on Staples.ca for $456 after coupon if you prefer their return policy). Looks like the Samsung sacrifices the height adjustable stand but instead provides VESA mount. The Samsung is also missing the USB-C and dual USB-A 3.1 ports that the BenQ has. The Samsung appears to have a max brightness of 300nit, while the BenQ 400nit, though I don't fully trust brightness numbers posted on retailer websites.

Please post an example of one .

I'm looking for a 1440p 32" monitor, preferably flat-screen. $500 seems to be the standard price and the better performing monitors in this size are either much more expensive or curved. I ordered this monitor earlier this morning but can still cancel. Thanks

The monitors above have been on sale at ~$400 quite a few times.

At $500, you can get a 27" IPS https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07X51X3CB/
I have this right now (bought for $400). It's pretty okay.

Thanks... seriously thinking about cancelling my order now (I believe my monitor is about to fail based on some no-starts I've been having this week, so not sure if I can afford to wait for another sale).

FYI the OP's monitor is mentioned in your suggestions - looks like it wasn't actually below $499.99 but some people were able to apply 100off500 coupons with a filler. Those orders appear to have all been cancelled

At the ~$500 price range, I really would recommend looking at a 27" IPS screens instead, like the Lenovo Y27q-20, LG 27GL83A-B, and my BenQ EX2780Q, for superior colours and faster response rate.

Unless you really want the curve (some people like them, some people hate them).
