[Best Buy] PDP legend of Zelda wired switch controller $19.99

Walked in because I was bored , found this, might buy later, it's wired but it's GameCube style if you're into that c stick spamming in smash

Any idea if these will work with GameCube?

Considering this uses a USB connector, and the Gamecube has no USB ports, I'm going to guess no.

This controller is detected as a switch pro controller when plugged in PC. Some steam games have controller profiles for it and will automatically apply the profile. You may need to do some additional configuration if the game doesn't have a switch pro controller profile.

I've tried it for emulation and works fine for that.

Thanks for the detailed assumption. Stands to reason they don't use the same proprietary connectors, as they used to.

You mean fighting games? There's a bunch, but smash is really the only exclusive you'd play on the switch for.
